In a shocking move, the Florida House decided to quit three days early on Tuesday. That means they did not pass a budget and medical marijuana legislation is dead.
According to United For Care, People United for Medical Marijuana the same players who stood up against Amendment 2 last year turned their backs on patients and ignored the will of nearly 3.4 million voters on Tuesday.A Quinnipiac poll from April 2015 showed 84% of Florida voters were in favor of medical marijuana.
In order to get the medical marijuana passed in Florida, United For Care says it has to get done through a constitutional amendment and the signing of their new petition which was not available but hopefully will be online in the upcoming days.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
They also announced the relaunch of their campaign effective Tuesday says medical marijuana will be on the ballot in 2016 so the voters can pass what the legislature failed to.
