Javier Manjarres, editor of The Shark Tank was on NewsMaxTV’s America’s Forum on Monday in opposition to Ari Rabin-Havt, host of The Agenda to discuss Hillary Clinton and Senator Marco Rubio’s announcements that they are running for president.
When it came to Hillary Clinton announcing, Ari Rabin-Havt said he would give her announcement an A-. He said the video was not meant to target Republicans, it was meant to target Democrats and she did a good job achieving her objective.Javier Manjarres agreed the video was a good production but thought Hillary’s appearance in it lacked luster. He said:
What drew my attention the most is when she actually spoke. . . She just seemed like a deer in headlights.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Manjarres also said it looked as if she was just reading a script and her heart was not really in it.
Next they talked about Marco Rubio and his presidential ambitions. It was said it might be an uphill battle for Rubio because of his on again, off again opinions in regards to immigration.
Manjarres was asked if people were underestimating him or overestimating Rubio. He responded:It depends on who you ask. I have always said he is a shoe-in to probably be the nominee down the road. This is of course was before Ted Cruz got it.
Manjarres did go on to say he thinks Rubio is going to initially have a problem with his past on immigration but he knows where he stands and he needs to prove it to the American public.
Manjarres also said the following about Rubio:
He dismissed the fact that Rubio is giving it all up to run because Manjarres said Rubio never really liked working in the Senate because nothing really gets done.If he becomes the nominee, he will be the next President of the United States of America.
Rubio needs to make sure the Republican running to take over his seat in the Senate gets elected because if a Democrat wins it will be his legacy and it will not look good.
On the other hand, Rabin-Havt said the following about Rubio:
I think he looks wishy washy on immigration and as I said, voters do not respond well to wishy washy.
