In an effort to revive the evangelical voter turnout in 2016, presidential candidate Ted Cruz is releasing his first television ads on Easter weekend.
Voters will see the ads on Fox News this weekend while they air Killing Jesus a program based on Bill O’Reilly’s book.Cruz’s team also bought air time on Sunday in the states of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada with NBC while they air A.D.: The Bible Continues.
In total the campaign spent $33,000 on the 30-second ad which features Cruz talking about what impact the transformative love of Jesus has had on his life.
