We all have one. An annoying neighbor who thinks they rule the roost and reports other neighbors for minor infractions. My neighborhood is not the exception to the norm.
On Thursday, I was falsely accused of harboring chickens in my backyard. Yes, chickens! I may have some in my fridge that I bought at the grocery store, but I did not know that was against the law.Anyway, Jacksonville code enforcement representatives appeared at my door to search for the hidden fowl. I gave them the grand tour and as they suspected there were no chickens!
Don’t get me wrong… I am not mad at the code enforcement officers for doing their job. I am mad at the noisy neighbor who reported the incident anonymously and without merit. Of course I voiced my concern to the code enforcement office. I told them how I thought frivolous complaints, being anonymous and wasting taxpayers monies should be regulated and the accusers should be held liable. They told me I could contact the State Attorney’s office and file a harassment complaint but I decided instead to get chicken revenge!
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
As revenge, I decided to address my anonymous neighbor by starting a chicken fight. So, I went to the dollar store and made the following signs calling out the unelected president of our non existent neighborhood homeowners association:
