Since his takeover of Crimea, the leader of the free and not-so-free world, Russian President Vladimir Putin, has stepped up his “aggression” in eastern Ukraine since first threatening to take more land that he and the Kremlin believe belong to mother Russia.
Putin asserted his hardliner position this week when he stated that he and the Kremlin have “always thought that Russians and Ukrainians were one nation.”Now the weak and reactionary American president, Barack Obama, has moved the two countries closer to another cold war, as he has authorized the U.S. Military to train 750 Ukrainian soldiers.
“Soldiers from the 173rd Airborne Brigade based in Vicenza, Italy, will conduct the National Guard training mission at the International Peacekeeping and Security Center, in Yavoriv, which is in western Ukraine, near the border with Poland,” Pentagon spokeswoman Eileen Lainez said.

Putin is also testing NATO’s defenses by continuing to flex his military muscles along his country’s border with Latvia and Estonia-two former Soviet bloc states
In recent days, Putin called his Navy’s Northern Fleet to full combat readiness in exercises in Russia’s Arctic. Russia’s Defense Ministry says 76,000 soldiers, 41 warships and 15 submarines are taking part in the exercises, which stretch from the Arctic to the Pacific.NATO scrambled jets Tuesday from Estonia and Lithuania to intercept a group of 11 Russian aircraft. Eight fighters and three military transports were among the Russian aircraft in international airspace over the Black Sea.
All except one had switched off their transponders, according to a Pentagon spokesman. The Russian planes landed in Kaliningrad two and a half hours after they were first detected by Estonian radar.
This can’t be good. But have you wondered if Putin would have dared to test the resolve of the U.S. military under President George W. Bush, his dad George H., or even Ronald Reagan?
Probably not. Obama has emboldened Russia and every other global enemy of hte U.S., including radical Islamic terrorist groups, leaving Americans and American assets around the world that much more vulnerable to hostile aggression.
