On Monday night former Texas Governor Rick Perry was at an event for Jacksonville mayoral candidate Lenny Curry which was held at the River City Brewing Company in downtown Jacksonville.
Perry had endorsed Curry back in January and is confident next week he will become the next mayor of Jacksonville.I caught up with Governor Perry and Curry at the event for an exclusive interview. We discussed why Perry endorsed Curry, how Curry felt about the momentum of his race with a week to go and what he was going to do to clean up crime in Jacksonville.
