Newly elected Republican Party of Florida Chairman and state House Representative, Blaise Ingoglia, dropped the political hammer on those conspiring to undermine his authority as the new boss of the state GOP.
We reported that as soon as Ingoglia won his election in a unexpected landslide, the Florida Senate yanked $800K from the party’s coffers, and now it is learned that equipment has also been moved out of RPOF headquarters.Because of this move by the Senate, Ingoglia quickly responded by stating the following:
Ingoglia has even revoked all access to the RPOF building in Tallahassee, pending his review of who is cleared to enter the building. From this moment forward the Republican Party Of Florida shall not process payment, incur costs, issue checks, transfer money or make any financial commitments without strict written approval of myself or a designated member of my transition staff.

Talk about smacking around an already ticked off and disgruntled RPOF staff and consultants.
Remember, in a show of disrespect to Ingoglia and the party as a whole, a good number of RPOF staffers (not all) walked out of the annual meeting, and deserve to get their necks stepped on. It is important of me to fairly point out that several staffers who appeared to be AWOL, at one point were in fact just trying to get internet access, use the restroom, or even get a drink of water.
Rest assured that Ingoglia will be “transitioning” these individuals out the door.
According to some consultants close to the RPOF, Florida Governor Rick Scott may not help Ingoglia raise money for the state GOP because they say he is upset over the chairman’s election results.
I doubt Scott will not support Ingoglia and his efforts leading up to the 2016 presidential elections. Scott will look to solidify his legacy as the “jobs governor” and probably go above and beyond to shore up any support he may have lost within the Republican Party.Regardless of whether Scott steps up to help fundraise, Senator Marco Rubio is said to have already committed his support to help Ingoglia out.
Why wouldn’t Rubio help his amigo Ingoglia?
After all, like many of us, Ingoglia stood by Rubio throughout his entire 2010 Senate race, even when disgraced former RPOF boss Jim Greer tried to strong-arm the state party into supporting Charlie Crist over Rubio.
Ahhh, those were some fun and memorable times.
Here is Ingoglia full statement on the matter:Republican Party of Florida Officers, Staff, and Consultants,
