Former Republican Congressman and presidential candidate, Newt Gingrich, called into the Sean Hannity radio show, where he told Hannity that he and Calista would not be running for president in 2016.
Gingrich said that he spoke to Mitt Romney and told him that the upcoming Republican presidential race would be a “brawl” and an “wide open race” between the biggest Republican presidential primary field since WWII.Gingrich also told Romney that the establishment vote would be split between him, Christie and Jeb Bush.
As far as the rest of the field, Gingrich talked up some of these potential presidential candidates, saying that Rand Paul had a significantly “bigger base than his dad,” and that Senator Ted Cruz has the entire Tea Party movement behind him.
