I really don’t know what to make of Mitt Romney’s announcement that he is considering a third run for president.
Romney told a group donors in NYC that he was thinking about doing it.
“Everybody in here can go tell your friends that I’m considering a run.”-Mitt Romney
Nothing personal against Mitt, but didn’t he get the message in 2012 when millions of conservatives stayed home and refused to vote for him, or even vote against Obama?
His 47% comment was a death blow, and if he thinks Americans have forgotten how much he is disconnected to them, then the Democrat Party will surely remind voters, if he decides to run in 2016.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
If Romney runs, what does it mean for Jeb Bush?
A Jeb run for president, and another Romney bid, will push all the establishment money their way, leaving Chris Christie and others like him on the outside looking in.
This scenario would help out Sen. Rand Paul, Gov. Scott Walker, and other conservatives in their possible presidential candidacies, especially Senator Ted Cruz, who is by far the conservative grassroots favorite. Why shouldn’t Romney think of another run for president?
After all, to run for higher office, or any elected position for that matter, you need a very healthy and special ego to be able to run. Romney has that ego, and recent polls in Iowa has him “dominating” the potential GOP field in the 2016 Iowa presidential caucus.
Taking Romney out of the equation, of these potential GOP presidential candidates, who would you support in the 2016 Republican primary race?
