The 2016 Republican presidential nomination will be decided by what happens between Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio.
Whatever living room deal Jeb and Rubio strike, in regards to which of them will run for President, will be the deciding factor of who will be the GOP’s 2016 presidential nominee. This year both potential presidential candidates can be found stumping for other Republican candidates in early primary states like Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Florida.
Again, coincidence?
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Bush needs Rubio to back off and not run for President.
Even with the Bush name being considered by many politicos as being toxic, Jeb Bush has already been annointed as the Republican establishment’s 2016 “chosen one”, which means that you can expect him to be able to garner a lot, if not most of the GOP’s donor base of support
But while Jeb has struck the ire of the conservative base with his support for Common Core education standards, as well as his support for amnesty for illegal aliens, Rubio has not.Rubio has the advantage over Bush with his opposition to Common Core, and takes a harder line on immigration reform, even though he did damage his brand when he sponsored the highly unpopular bipartisan “Gang of 8” comprehensive immigration reform bill in the U.S. Senate.
The real problem poses for Jeb is that Rubio can pull from his establishment donor base, the conservative grassroots base, and appeal to the coveted Hispanic vote.
Let me just say that Bush is bilingual, and can hold his own in messaging Hispanics, but he is no Marco Rubio when it comes to relating and speaking from his heart to this voting bloc.
Rubio is one of them, and his message seems to transcend further across most ethnic and political lines.
If Rubio runs, he wins.If Rubio doesn’t run, Texas Senator Ted Cruz will most likely become the conservative Republican grassroots choice to counter Jeb Bush.
Because Cruz has proven to be a threat to the balance of power in the GOP establishment, expect the John McCain’s of the party to continue their “whacko bird” demonization of Cruz.
Cruz, who has made several appearances in Florida this year and is quickly becoming a favorite in the sunshine state, could give Bush a heck of a run in Iowa and South Carolina, and make life difficult for him leading into this home state of Florida’s primary election.
Taking Cruz out of the equation in Florida, which political do Floridians prefer to represent them to be the 2016 Republican presidential nominee, Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio.
