Democrats continue to revert to using desperate tactics to defeat Florida Governor Rick Scott and other Republicans this election season.
Democrat Attorney General candidate George Sheldon and his attorney Don Hinkle-an Obama and Charlie Crist fundraiser-have filed a lawsuit against Rick Scott claiming that Scott had purposely not disclosed millions of dollars in personal assets.“The people of Florida don’t really care whether Gov. Scott is worth a hundred million or $300 million or $800 million,” said Sheldon. “What they care about is being able to determine whether he has a personal financial stake in the decisions he makes as a public official.”
In hopes to move the political needle in their favor, this lawsuit was filed simultaneously with Charlie Crist’s campaign move of having to regurgitate Scott’s Columbia/HCA past.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Of course Scott dismisses this lawsuit as being nothing more than a desperate attempt by Democrats to try to win votes.
Sheldon, who is expected to get routed by Attorney General Pam Bondi in the general election, is also claiming that Bondi is complicit in Rick Scott’s alleged financial disclosure shenanigans.“I did exactly what Charlie Crist’s grand jury recommended and of course he didn’t follow — put your assets in a blind trust so you don’t have a conflict,” Scott said. “That’s what I did. I put my assets in a blind trust. … I disclosed all the assets and my tax returns and my wife’s tax returns, just like Jeb Bush did, Alex Sink did, prior governor candidates.”
Oh boy.
The only thing left for Crist, Sheldon, and Democrats to do is perhaps let out a Howard Dean “yeah,” or put on helmet and ride in a military tank.
