It was only a matter of time before liberal media outlets like the Politico and pundits began to run cover for President Obama’s foolish latte salute by comparing it to President George W. Bush’s famous Barney the dog salute.

Bush was clearly caught off guard with the pooch in his arms, but what is Obama’s excuse?

Obama is clearly strutting down the steps of Marine One wearing his shades and opting to salute with latte-holding right hand.

Considering that Obama knows to salute the Marines whenever he exits any of his aircraft-doing so with his right hand for more than 5 years- he knew exactly what he was doing.
