When will Charlie Crist ‘man-up’ and debate his Democrat gubernatorial opponent, life-long Democrat and former state Senator Nan Rich?

That seems to be the growing question in this year’s Democrat gubernatorial race between Crist and Rich, as the majority of Democrat voters would like to see the two square off for at least one debate.

Rich is all for a debate, calling out Crist as being a scaredy cat for not engaging her, while Crist insists that he focus is Rick Scott, not the former state Senator.

For the record, you can’t get anymore liberal than Nan Rich. Period. So, with Charlie Chameleon trying to ‘swing both ways’ politically, Rich’s demand for a debate is valid, and Crist should consider engaging her.

Why should he debate Rich?

Well, in my opinion, and regardless of the possible embarrassment he would face, Crist could win over many of those skeptical Democrat voters that say they won’t vote for him in the general election.

What really has me scratching my head in this Democrat primary race is, why hasn’t Team Rick Scott injected itself into the Crist’s primary race against Rich?

The should have infiltrated the primary and forced Crist to expend resources.

Think about it. If Crist is pressured to spend money and other resources in a competitive, or even a somewhat-competitive Democrat primary race, he would all but go into a general election wounded, and with less cashola on hand.
