In her trek to the southern U.S. border to comfort the thousands of children who have crossed into Texas illegally, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said they were “all Americans” now.
Pelosi explained, “We are all Americans — north and south in this hemisphere,” and urged America to see this as not a crisis but an opportunity “to be helpful.” She also said she wished she could simply “take home” the thousands of children temporarily housed in the overburden facilities.
This will probably come as a surprise to the hundreds of thousands of immigrants trying to emigrate legally to the United States. They would probably prefer that the system was “more helpful” to them than the flood of illegal immigrants walking over the non-existent border thanks to Obama Administration policies.
