The hunt for the three kidnapped Israeli teens continues, as Israel has stepped up its efforts to find the suspected Hamas operatives who carried out the crime. A total of 200 “Hamas activists” have been detained, and are threatening to bolster the punishment of those Palestinians already being detained.
This kidnapping occurred less than a month after the Palestinian government welcomed Hamas into their political fold, calling the new governing body, a “unity government.”President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, have both embraced this “unity government” and U.S. aid had continued to flow to that terrorist state.
So, how has Hamas responded to the kidnapping?

The terrorist organization is praising the kidnappings, yet refuses to admit responsibility for the crime.
Netanyahu claims Abbas is ultimately responsible for the fate of the teens, saying the attackers originated from territory under his control, and alleged the Palestinian leader’s new alliance with the Islamic militants created an atmosphere that encouraged the apparent kidnapping.
Abbas aides have rejected Netanyahu’s contention, saying Israel is in overall control of the West Bank.Hamas has praised the kidnapping, but has not taken responsibility. In a statement Tuesday, the group said the detentions of Hamas members “will not stop it and it will not change its path.”
