Richard DeNapoli, candidate for the Florida State House of Representatives in district 74, continues to swim upstream in his Republican primary race against conservative Orthopedic surgeon Julio Gonzalez, as another one of his past missteps will undoubtedly haunt his fledgling campaign.
Back on December 3, 2010, we reported that then-Broward Republican Executive Committee Chairman DeNapoli, may have misrepresented himself to Palm Beach Country voters, and falsified Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections when he filed to run for the Palm Beach County Commission. In 2004, DeNapoli inherited his grandparents Hollywood, Florida home, a home in which according to Broward County public records, DeNapoli has lived in and paid property taxes on it since coming into the property.-Shark Tank (Record here)
DeNapoli has openly stated, boasted that he was has lived in Broward County since the early 2000’s, but thensigned off on Palm Beach Country Supervisor of Elections documents that he lived at 12681 Westhampton Circle, Unit A201 in Wellington, Florida, and not his Broward County, Florida address.

According to the Palm Beach Country Property Appraiser’s records, the address in question, was owned by George Meyers, who bought the unit in 2003, which later sold to Amanda Quinto in 2008.
Maybe DeNapoli was a renter? If he was renting the unit, then I am sure he willing and able to supply a utility bill with his name listing him as a resident.
DeNapoli’s candidacy was short-lived. DeNapoli withdrew from the race shortly after entering it on July 18, 2006.
The following year, DeNapoli faced the wrath of the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) Grievance Committee, which openly stated that he displayed “weak and ineffectual leadership,” as well as prompting one ranking RPOF member to bluntly tell DeNapoli,” Your leadership sucks.”To learn more about Richard DeNapoli, click here.
