Republican congressional candidate and self-proclaimed “outsider,” Curt Clawson, says that he will only hold elected office for two congressional terms, if he wins his Republican primary race, and the subsequent general election.
Clawson has always said he didn’t plan on being a career politician, but has never specifically stated exactly how many terms he would serve.The former Purdue basketball player made waves earlier this year when he launched his congressional campaign with a commercial that called out President Obama to a 3-point shot challenge.
The ad, which aired during the 2014 Super Bowl, grabbed instant national name recognition.

Now Clawson is saying that he would challenge Obama to a game of one-on-one game of hoops, if he is elected to Congress.
