Congressman Alan Grayson (D-FL) seems to support Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent incursion into Ukraine, and Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait in 1990, as he opines on the “dispute” between Russia and Ukraine.
Grayson made these remarks during Tuesday’s House Foreign Affair Committee hearing.“[I]n fact, what we’re seeing here instead is the vilification of [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, the vilification of [Viktor] Yanukoych, the vilification of anybody who we try to identify as our enemy,” Grayson said. “Before it was Saddam Hussein. Before that and since then, it’s been [Bashar al-] Assad. This does not help.” –Rep. Alan Grayson (D)
Grayson’s 2014 Republican congressional opponent, Navy veteran Jorge Bonilla, took to Twitter to respond to the remarks, and jabbed Grayson about the recent Shark Tank report about his profiting off of Russian oil.
