Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush is on a national political tour pushing Common Core through states that are important to anyone looking to run for President of the United States.
Bush’s tour includes visits to states like New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, and Tennessee, where he stated at an education summit. that adopting Common Core is a “is a real-world, grown up approach to a real crisis.”“Trust me I know,” he said. “There are not a whole lot of people who are standing up to this avalanche.”-Jeb Bush, Tampa Tribune
This avalanche Bush speaks of is the nationwide push by grassroots conservative to do away with Common Core, or how I refer to it, socialized education.

What Bush is basically saying here is that those opposing Common Core are being irresponsible adolescents for not disapproving, and in some cases, causing the implementation of these education standards to stall.
Bush’s protege, Senator Marco Rubio has gone on record of opposing Common Core, actually slamming it, causing a rift between he and the former governor. Here is what Rubio said in 2013 when the Shark Tank confronted him on the controversial national education standards.
And I am very concerned, and quite frankly opposed to any effort to try to create some sort of national curriculum standard and then try to leverage the power of the federal government’s funding to force states to adopt a certain curriculum standard. State and local levels are the best places to come up with curriculum reform, and its something the federal government shouldn’t be deeply involved in.-Senator Marco Rubio
Anyone supporting Common Core, and plans to run for President, will most likely lose significant grassroots support.
