After weeks of wonder where former Republican-turned-Democrat Charlie Crist stood on Obamacare, it appears (at least this week) Crist supports President Obama’s embattled and controversial healthcare law.
“We need health care…We’re the richest country in the history of the world. And this man stretched and he got through health care for our people. And it was not easy. But he deserves our support, especially now.”-Charlie Crist

Crist called Obamacare a “good plan” and told attendees at a recent fundraiser to “show him what a friend” they were, and support the President and his policies during this “tough” time the President finds himself in.
Crist Democratic Primary opponent, during and interview with the Shark Tank, former Senator Nan Rich, stated that she also wanted to know where Crist stood on the healthcare law.
“The president’s is going through a tough time right now. Everybody’s on his back about a website,” Crist told a crowd of about 90 people gathered for a fundraiser at the Palma Ceia home of Hillsborough County Clerk of the Circuit Court Pat Frank.“Well whatever,” he said. “Stuff happens. But he’s got a good plan. And now’s the time you need to show him what a friend you are. It’s easy to be with him when he’s rolling along but when it’s tough the tough get going.”-Charlie Crist (Tampa Tribune)
Asked about that, Crist said, “I’m running against Rick Scott and I’m excited about it. I’m very pleased about how the race is going.” Asked whether he would stay in a Democratic primary against Nelson, he said, “No hypotheticals.”
So, now the big question. Will Crist flip flop on his latest support for Obamacare, if the law continues to derail as the 2014 election season progresses?
