It seems as if Charlie Crist has found his inner tough guy, as the Republican-turned-Independent-turned-Democrat is saying that he ain’t skeered to go after Florida Governor Rick Scott’s HCA past.
People like Al Capone do that,” Crist said. “And they definitely don’t get to be governor. The governor of Illinois maybe, but not Florida.”-Tampa Bay Times
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Yes, Crist just likened Rick Scott to the murdering mobster of the 1920’s. But what he also did was dig at his Democratic amigo, President Barack Obama. It is apparent that Crist does not agree with Illinois-Blago style of governing, a style that is rooted from the way things are done in Chicago, Obama’s hometown and where he made his political bones.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, Crist made the comment in during one of his gubernatorial fundraisers at his sisters house in the Tampa Bay area.
Crist was making a hard sell to donors, asking them to consider maxing out the $3000 allowed under current Florida campaign finance laws. Just a few days ago, Crist was also making the fundraising pitch to one of his past Republican donors, as he attempts to scrape together any possible remaining GOP dollars that may still exist for him.“If you continue to load my gun, I will fire the cannon,” Crist said.
The only gun that Crist’s actions and statements is loading is the Republican Party’s political Howitzer that has shelling the former governor over his long string of political flip flops.
The Republican Party of Florida has just responded to Crist’s remark:

It’s another opportunistic move from a career politician who has a history of lousy judgment when it comes to his own decisions and the people he surrounds himself with. Floridians can’t afford another four years with Charlie Crist in the Governor’s office.”-Lenny Curry, RPOF Chairman
