The Republican dog pile on former Republican-turned-Independent-turned-Democrat, Charlie Crist’s recently announced gubernatorial candidacy continues, as Texas Governor Rick Perry-one of Rick Scott’s closest amigos-tells reporters how his friend is “one passionate dude,” who is focused on creating jobs for Florida.
During the phone call with reporters, Perry highlighted all of Scott’s positive jobs creation and economic accomplishments he has made as governor of Florida, saying that Scott came into office and had to ” cleaned up the mess that Charlie Crist created,” adding that Floridians did not have to go back to the “economic misery” the state endured under Crist.
Perry pointed out that under Crist’s watch. 832,000 jobs were lost in Florida, and that regardless of his change of political party, Crist “can’t change his stripes.”
Scott’s economic record speaks for itself, as does Crist’s.
Rick Scott is very, very successful. Charlie Crist, not so much-Gov. Rick Perry
