Here’s the Reverend Jesse Jackson in fine form, fresh from his elegy of Hugo Chávez. Over the course of three minutes, he manages to conduct United States foreign policy, confuse his interpreter, and botch a pander by dropping a “Sí Se Puede” on Venezuelan state media.
The record will reflect, per Baseball Almanac, that the Rev. Jackson is factually incorrect. Per 2012 data, the Dominican Republic (137) is the largest “exporter” of players to Major League Baseball, and not Venezuela (105).
