By JAVIER MANJARRESHere is a pretty incredible story about a courageous kid who “tackled” a fellow student from his High School after the student pointed a loaded gun at another kid. According to the Fox News report, the kid in question, a 16-year-old Cypress Lake High School student wrestled away the gun away from a 15-year-old, who pulled the gun out on a school bus.
For whatever reason, the 16-year-old hero was too scared to cooperate with the police investigation, prompting the school to suspend him for 3 days, this according to the unidentified student’s mother.
“I think he was really going to shoot him right then and there,” said the student, who declined to be identified.
According to the referral the student received the following day, he was suspended for his role in an “incident” where a weapon was present and given an “emergency suspension,” the station reported. The suspected gunman was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm on school property and assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, the report states.
Sgt. David Valez of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office told the station an investigation into the incident is ongoing.-Fox News
