Ramos prefaced his remarks by stating that as an immigrant from Mexico, he would not have have realized the success he attained in the United States if he had never left Mexico. Ramos added that “we (Hispanics) have contributed more to this country than what we have taken away from it, its a great business to have us here.”
According to Ramos, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has stated that “for every dollar that we (Hispanics) take in benefits, most we are talking about undocumented immigrants in this country,” they create two dollars.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Ramos then noted that thousands of U.S. businesses are in violation of current U.S. immigration law- complicit because of the tens of thousands of illegal immigrants they illegally employ- but his claim that Americans’ lives are dependent upon illegal immigrants is a highly questionable one-
Ramos’ statement that Americans are best served by illegal immigrants at every turn is a huge stretch, to say the least.I think we have to be very honest and we have to know that undocumented immigrants are thousands of American companies who hire them, and because there are millions of Americans who benefit from them every single day from their work. What we had this morning for breakfast was harvested by immigrants, the houses and apartments where we live were built by undocumented immigrants, whenever we go to a restaurant or to a Hospital, or to a hotel, we are being served by undocumented immigrants. It would be disingenuous and it would be hypocritical to criticize undocumented immigrants when we here in the United States, created the circumstances to bring them here, especially that we are benefit from their work every single day. – Jorge Ramos
