by Javier ManjarresJust days after trashing his half brother on Republican candidate Melanie Peterson’s campaign for State Senate Facebook page, Alec Abruzzo has walked back his harsh criticism of Peterson’s general election opponent Joe Abruzzo as attorneys for Abruzzo’s campaign attempted to characterize the remarks about Joe Abruzzo’s character as “false and defamatory.”
Alec Abuzzo took the initiative to post his criticism on Melanie Peterson’s wall, and the Shark Tank followed up with Alec via Twitter to gain some insight into why he was so opposed to his brother’s campaign, and he doubled down on his hard criticism of his half brother.
But now Alec is completely walking back his comments and employing the Anthony Weiner “my Twitter/Facebook account was hacked” defense. Joe Abruzzo’s lawyers and/or confidants must have really read Alec the riot act for him to not only back off his initial remarks, but to effusively praise his brother and give his blessing to his candidacy.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
It’s clear that Joe Abruzzo’s BIZPac endorsed campaign is concerned that Alec’s initial remarks might be used in a future campaign mailer and was forced to unleash his attorneys for some pre-emptive damage control. Perhaps they should have issued a “warning letter” directly to Alec rather than Florida GOP Chairman Lenny Curry? Here is the letter Abruzzo’s attorney sent RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry.
Here’s the chain of messages from Alec Abruzzo- on Halloween, he would “support a Monkey over Joey” but the just following day, he’s “150%” behind my brother-
