For those of you who missed Debbie Wasserman Schultz’ latest episode of unapologetic lying about Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, let’s bring you up to speed.

During her latest Fox News appearance ‘On the Record’ with Greta Van Susteren, the factually challenged DNC Chairwoman stated the following-

What I was surprised about Greta, during the entire section of the debate on the Middle East, Mitt Romney didn’t bring up Israel once and I think it just shows he isn’t committed to Israel as he says he is and has really only used the issue as a political opportunity. – Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Such an interesting assertion considering the fact that Romney mentioned Israel 14 times throughout the course of the debate. While Wasserman Schultz was in the debate hall, it’s really implausible for her not to have heard the debate proceedings- maybe she stepped out to the restroom and missed a couple of these references, but missing all fourteen instances of Romney’s references to Israel strains credulity.  It’s more likely that she had her talking points ready to go beforehand and didn’t want to deviate from the script, regardless of what Romney actually said.

Wasserman Schultz also attempted to provide cover for Obama after Romney called the President out for “skipping” Israel during his last Middle East trip.  Give DWS this much- she’s going down with the ship as a good surrogate, defending the her boss and his indefensible agenda at every opportunity.
