Rasmussen’s latest poll in Florida almost got lost in the Friday news dump, but it’s significant, as the poll found Mitt Romney with a +1% lead over Obama (46-45% ) with likely voters- still well within the 4.5% MOE, but it’s nonetheless promising for Romney that he’s already polling ahead of a sitting President at this point in the race. Polls of likely voters have proven to be more meaningful than polls that survey registered voters, and at this stage in the game, it’s hard to identify any voter segment that Obama is doing better with than he did in 2008.
