Vice President Joe Biden and the Organizing for America campaign shuffled into South Florida to address a large group of “seasoned” citizens in Coconut Creek at the blue-collar-ish Wynmoor retirement community. Biden was flanked by DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Congressman Ted Deutch at the event, and he reaffirmed President Obama’s commitment to his much maligned ObamaCare law to those assembled. Biden used some interesting yet predictable scare tactics in an attempt to scare the Geritol out the seniors who shuffled out of their condominiums and into their recreation center at Wynmoor to hear Biden speak.
Biden referred to Congressman Paul Ryan as a “nice guy” before tearing into him and his fellow House Republicans for voting to pass Ryan’s budget plan, Biden then lambasted Ryan and his “Amen corner” of Republican Presidential candidates who want to “End Medicare as we know it.”
