Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney was in Palm Beach, FL to greet hundreds of his supporters and potential voters in this month’s Florida Republican presidential primary election. Romney gave his usual ‘rah-rah’ pep rally and managed to get in a few funny swipes in at President Barack Obama. Romney also poked fun at his own ‘landslide’ victory in the Iowa caucus. Romney pointed out that in order “to create jobs, it helps to have had a job,” a blatant rip on President Barack Obama’s career politician and community organizing employment resume.
Where I take issue with Governor Romney is when he directly calls out my childhood TV playmates, Sesame Street Heavyweights, ‘Big Bird.’ and ‘Bert and Ernie.’ That is where I, El Sharko draws the line 😉 Romney was asked what he thought about Congresswoman/DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz blaming the Tea Party for just about everything, Romney smiled and answered, “Amazing, very sad.”
