Conservative pundits are near unanimous in their dismissal of the reckless foreign policy positions that Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul articulated at last night’s Fox News debate in Sioux City, Iowa. Paul reiterated his position that Iran should be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon and that the U.S. should not help Israel defend itself. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann proceeded to take Paul out to the woodshed for his remarks during the debate, and then after the debate, Fox News’ very own Sean Hannity described Ron Paul’s foreign policy views as “naive.”
