Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry is planning a big comeback in the GOP presidential primary, and he’s launched a 10-day bus tour in Council Bluffs, Iowa that will take him across the state. Perry hopes that he can regain enough support to position himself amongst the top three candidates in the leadup to the Iowa Caucus on January 3th. Currently, Perry is polling in fourth with Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.Governor Perry was gracious enough to invite me aboard the ‘Road Ranger Rick’ bus to talk about the campaign as well as about his faith and family. In this first segment of the interview, Perry tears into both Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich for both supporting the individual healthcare mandate- the single most controversial measure within President Obama’s ‘Obamacare healthcare plan.
Newt said that he was for a individual mandates, and even admitted that they were unconstitutional, but he said,”I will support them because it’s better than HillaryCare. Well if it’s unconstitutional, it’s unconstitutional.” -Governor Rick Perry

I asked Perry to discuss the $10K bet that Governor Romney proposed to him during the last debate, to which Perry replied that he was not a “gambling man.” He also added that he wasn’t intimidated by Romney in the least, as many believe that it was Romney’s intention to do so.
