Mississippi Governor and former RNC Chairman Haley Barbour has come out in support of Senator George LeMieux in the 2012 Republican primary race for U.S. Senate. Barbour has long been considered a staunch conservative and has proven to be a ‘king-maker’ of sorts with his fundraising prowess.
Governor Barbour made the following statement:
“George is a solid conservative who served the people of Florida well in the U.S. Senate”
