With all the hoopla over who will face off against Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz in next year’s election, I have sucommbed to the barrage of email requests asking me to conduct a legitimate poll that better gauges the support for the Republican candidates in the race. In the name of full disclosure, the Shark Tank has already endorsed Karen Harrington in this primary race. With that in mind, I will give each candidate a short introductory blurb.

Joe Kaufman- is the former Chairman of Americans Against Hate, and made a name for himself by being the ‘tip of the spear’ of sorts, in the effort to out the radical Muslim element that exists in the United States. Kaufman shares widespread Jewish support through his organization, and could be a formidable opponent in the Republican primary. www.kaufmannforcongress.com

Karen Harrington is a small business owner with years of real world business experience who garnered 39% of the vote in the 2010 general election against Wasserman-Schultz.  Harrington has a large grassroots following and has just launched www.firedebbie.com to help drive fundraising.
