Dissension within the Broward Republican  Executive Committee’s (BREC) ranks continues to grow as popular Broward County Commissioner and former BREC Chairman Chip LaMarca has sounded off against the current Chairman Richard Lee DeNapoli.  At the monthly “Breakfast with the Secretary” meeting, BREC Secretary Sheela Venero opened the floor for discussion and solicited input as to what needs to get done in order to win in 2012. Venero was a little taken back when several guests to the breakfast began to unload concerns against current Chairman DeNapoli.

With a reputation as a reasonable voice within the party and speaking from his past experience as the former Chairman of the BREC, Commissioner LaMarca took issue with the fact that Venero had been threatened of being  recalled from her post as Secretary and questioned DeNapoli’s motives for being Chairman of the Republican party of Broward County.
