Congresswoman Corinne Brown, another Congressional Democrat who has liberally imbibed more than her share of Obama’s ‘Messianic’ punch, is running for re-election again. After seeing more than enough of the ‘change we can really believe in’ over the past several months, my senses tell me that she is going to have a very difficult time retaining her seat.
The 3rd Congressional District winds its way from Jacksonville down through the heart of the state, ending in Orlando. If you were to look at a map of the congressional district, you would see a gerrymandered district that has been carved out to better accommodate Democrats. Nonetheless, this seat is a very winnable one for Republicans.Enter Michael “Mike” Yost. A mechanic by trade, Yost has decided to run against Congresswoman Brown in November. Yost has quietly been garnering a lot of support behind the scenes, and he is ready to take the next step in his quest to unseat Congresswoman Brown. Being the shrewd and intelligent candidate that he is, Mike agreed to sit down with the one and only political heavyweight blog in Florida, The Shark Tank.
