The race to replace term-limited Florida Governor Rick Scott is underway as Democrats and Republicans are setting out to lead the sunshine state, but the ticket that’s generating a lot of discussing is the idea of Patrick Murphy running alongside David Jolly for the spot.
Both former lawmakers have recently teamed up for a nationwide tour to discuss why the United States Congress is currently gridlocked, and the bipartisan effort has caught the attention and support from many people. One person in particular is Jay Foreman, CEO of Basic Fun!, the Boca-Raton toy company that creates My Little Pony.
After seeing both politicians on MSNBC, sharing their thoughts on the current political landscape, Foreman messaged Murphy and said that Murphy has his support and checkbook.

Foreman believes that “it’s a great idea and a great opportunity for Florida, which is a swing state in so many ways, to show the country that this model works.”
He added that “Jolly and Murphy get into it and I see two guys with fresh ideas and fresh faces. It gets me excited because this is the bench for future years in politics.”
Neither Murphy nor Jolly has made an admission about entering the race.
