Attorney John “Marijuana” Morgan is weighing in on the Senate Race between term-limited Florida Governor Rick Scott and Senator Bill Nelson, and he says that it’s going to be a tough challenge for Nelson if he wishes to be re-elected.
While speaking to reporters in Tallahassee, Morgan commented that he believes “Senator Nelson is in for a dog fight. I think he’s got to get busy.” He added that “You cannot underestimate this Rick Scott. He is a methodical, Eveready bunny; a bald-headed everyday bunny who just never stops. He’s focused, and he’s got the money. And he’s got the message. And if I was Bill Nelson, I’d be worried.”
In addition, he also shared his thoughts by saying that he supports Richard Corcoran choosing not to go forward with a bid to become the sunshine state’s next Governor.
He explained that he called former Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine to tell “him he’s lucky I’m not in ‘cause I would win in a landslide.”
Morgan added that “All I know is, I’ve never known any governor that’s ever done anything for any of us. Ever. So it’s not a job that I really think I’d be good at every day. I’m better at this.”
