The political boogeyman to Republicans, George Soros, seems to have already dipped his hand into Florida’s 2018 midterm elections.
According to the former state Representative Fred Costello’s congressional campaign, a “tracker” from the leftist SuperPAC American Bridge 21st Century, was discovered at one of Costello’s campaign kick-off events.
Vic Baker, the campaign’s spokesman, says that he confronted the videographer where the man confirmed his intentions to cover Costello’s movements.
American Bridge is well-know for “tracking” or following around not only candidates they feel could be a threat to Democratic candidates, as well as just about anyone the Republicans put up, funding prohibiting of course.
“I’m flattered that a left-wing hit squad believes it’s necessary to hire video stalkers to follow me around, said Costello, “but they’re wasting their time. My record of public service is an open book,” he said. “It seems obvious that Democrats already see me as the man to beat in November,” he added. –Costello Press release
Depending on the event, Republican candidates usually allow American Bridge “trackers” to do their job without any interference.
Democrats on the other hand, not so much.
Yes, election season is upon us.
