Americans are still scratching their heads over the Senate floor stunt Senator John McCain (R) pulled when he sided with Democrats and vote “no” to repealing the embattled Obamacare law.
President Trump, who campaigned on repealing and replacing Obamacare during the 2016 election cycle, decided to tear into the failed efforts by Senate Republicans to repeal President Obama’s legacy legislation.Hours before McCain all-but betrayed Americans by voting against the repeal, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, who campaigned twice against Obamacare, was convinced that the repeal would take place. Rubio posted on this on his Facebook page that Americans were on a “path to repealing” the law.
Senator Rubio vowed to continue efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act, telling the Tampa Bay Times he ran for the Senate twice “on the promise of repealing and replacing Obamacare,” and that he intended to “keep that promise.”
