The U.S. military has just announced that it has dropped the largest non-nuclear bomb on enemy forces in eastern Afghanistan.
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer told reporters that the 21,000-pound GBU-43B weapon, which has a blast radius of one mile in every direction, was dropped in a remote and mountains area of the Nangarhar Province, targeting a large tunnel complex used by Taliban and ISIS fighters.
The weapon, the MOAB-Massive Ordinance Air Blast- is 30 feet long, and has to be delivered by way of C-130 cargo plane.
It’s that heavy.
