When President Trump recently tweeted that the media was the “enemy of the American people,” a sonic boom was heard when the heads of media types simultaneously exploded around the country.
While most politicians will quietly agree with Trump’s statement, some have pushed back and are disagreeing with the president’s choice of words.
Republican Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida addressed the Trump’s remark at a press conference in Miami.
“To the members of the press, I want to say thank you…You are not the enemy of the American people.”- Rep. Ros-Lehtinen (Miami Herald)
