It can be argued that heading into the 2016 Presidential primaries, Jeb Bush was seen as one of the top candidates to possibly secure the Republican nomination. Then, Donald Trump became a force to be reckoned with.
In turn, both were engaged in a bitter rivalry in the most unconventional political season.After being somewhat mum on President Trump’s recent actions, Jeb Bush has slammed Trump’s recent immigration ban, calling it “poor policymaking”.
On the campaign trail, both Trump and Bush disagreed on immigration reform and Bush criticized Trump’s rhetoric when it came to his views on dealing with Islaming terrorism. In a tweet posted today, Bush refers to is titled “Trump Immigration Ban Undermines Iraqi Cooperation Against ISIS Bloom” by Meghan O’Sullivan.
The criticism comes at a time when protests have erupted against the ban and lawmakers are contesting it as well.
