“Don’t tase me bro!”
A Zephryhills, Florida police officer was put on leave, and later fired, after he tasered a man he suspected of retail theft.Officer Tim Claussen went to the suspect Lester Brown’s home and ordered him to come out of the house. Videos shows Brown walking out of the house with his hands up and was not resisting arrest, when Claussen shot him with his Taser.
According to the City Attorney for Zephryhills, Joseph Poblick, the concluding investigation into the incident found that “the deployment of that Taser was unjustified,” leading to Claussen being fired.
