Known for his over-the-top and bombastic attacks against Republicans and some of his Democratic political opponents, Alan Grayson has now immersed himself in the racist “BlackLivesMatter” movement.
Grayson recently met with Tampa, Florida chapter of the group to discuss the 2014 death of a 14-year-old boy that was killed when he ran across Interstate 4.The boy, Andrew Joseph III, was one of dozens of teens who were kicked out of the State fair in 2014 by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department.
Grayson is now saying that he will take it upon himself to investigate whether or not the Sheriff’s department the incident correctly, and may push for a federal investigation in the incident.

There it is. The ‘Race Card.’
So why did these teens get kicked out of the State Fair in the first place?Reports of fighting led to many teens being ejected from the fair that night in 2014. Most were black. Most of the authorities who responded were white.
Grayson responds:
“If you’re in any circumstance where any part of the community is singled out, whether intentionally or inadvertently,” Grayson said, “that’s unfair.”
How was the black community singled out?
Let’s look at the facts here.A bunch of kids, who just so happened to be black, were told to leave the State Fair because they were fighting.
The Sheriff’s deputies who were called to address the altercations are reported to be white, which makes one wonder if there were any black deputies on scene, as if that even matters.
Again, did the deputies chase the teens down, and did they force Andrew Joseph III to make the bad choice of running across a busy interstate highway.
Probably not, but that won’t stop Alan Grayson, who is currently running for the U.S. Senate in Florida, of making this about political expediency.
