Senator Marco Rubio is the top dog in Florida when it comes to approval ratings.
In a recent Quinnipiac University poll, 57% of 1,093 Floridians polled believe that Rubio is doing a great job as their U.S. Senator, even though in the same poll, these very same voters would rather see Donald Trump or Jeb Bush as the 2016 Republican presidential nominee.Don’t count the Outback Steakhouse-loving Rubio out of the 2016 presidential race. With this kind of approval rating in arguably the most important swing state in the country, Rubio’s fledgling presidential fortunes could change at the drop of a dime.
Remember, back in 2009, Rubio trailed then-Republican Governor Charlie Crist by a seemingly overwhelming double-digit figure. Rubio turned it around and won his Senate seat the following year.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Politics are fluid. Anything can happen, even Rubio being drafted by the Miami Dolphins.
Kidding.
Rubio could be in prime position to make a run at Trump and Bush in the coming months.
