On Tuesday House Republicans introduced legislation opposing the deal struck recently between Iran and the White House. By doing so they launched a battle with the White House which could end in a veto shutdown later on this year.
As reported by Fox News, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (CA-R) introduced the legislation. He said the deal:gives up too much, too fast, to a terrorist state — making the world less safe, less secure, and less stable.
House Republicans said they have 218 GOP votes lined up for a resolution of disapproval.

President Obama on the other hand is working to secure the backing of Democrats both in the House and in the Senate.
On Tuesday, the following Democrats came out in support of the bill: Senator Time Kaine (VA) and Senator Bill Nelson (FL).
If both the House and the Senate vote against the deal Obama will surely veto it. Then they would need a two-thirds majority in Congress to override it.Royce also said:
The agreement gives Iran permanent sanctions relief, but in exchange only temporary restrains Iran’s nuclear program. If this agreement goes through, Iran gets a cash bonanza, a boost to its international standing, and a lighted path toward nuclear weapons.
Senator Kaine said the deal is:
Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu is against the deal. He has said:a dramatic improvement over the status quo in improving global security. The agreement takes a nuclear weapons program that was on the verge of success and disable it for many years through peaceful diplomatic means with sufficient tools for the international community to verify whether Iran is meeting its commitments.
The nuclear deal with Iran doesn’t block Iran’s path to the bomb. It actually paves Iran’s path to the bomb.
He also said Israel wants peace, not war regardless of what President Obama says.
