On Thursday the White House celebrated Muslim holiday Ed-ul-Fitr while a Muslim terrorist was killing Marines in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
According to Breitbart, the White House tweeted the following right after the shooting:From our family to yours, Eid Mubarak – @POTUS to Muslims celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr: go.wh.gov/M6gdrS
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
The White House also released the following statement from the President about the event:
The long statement also addressed Americans who are unsure about Muslims:Michelle and I would like to extend our warmest wishes to Muslims in the United States and around the world celebrating Eid-ud-Fitr. As Muslims mark the end of the month, they are reminded that Ramadan is a time to reflect spiritually, build communally, and aid those in need. While Eid marks the end of Ramadan, it marks a new beginning for each individual – a reason to celebrate and express gratitude on this holiday.
As Muslim Americans celebrate Eid across America, the holiday is a reminder to every American of the importance of respecting those of all faiths and beliefs.
This is not the first time the President has been criticized for being insensitive. Earlier on this week he remained silent about the murder of Kate Steinle by a previously deported illegal immigrant.
He also chastised Major Garrett over his questions about the American prisoners in Iran the president did not try to save during negotiations.
And we wonder why the President does not effectively address Muslim terrorism.
