Per Politico, now presidential candidate Ted Cruz raised $500,000 in one day. That is very impressive.
As many of us already know, Ted Cruz announced he was running for president. His first official announcement came at 12 am Monday morning, followed by a historic speech at app. 10:20 am at Liberty University. What made it historic was the fact the Senator talked for twenty-five minutes without notes or a teleprompter. Very few politicians nowadays can claim such a feat. What made it so inspiring was Cruz’s speech was on point, full of passion and he articulated everything he wanted to say with precision and clarity. He is a transcribers dream come true.On Monday night he had a fundraiser in New York that brought in 60% of his donations, leaving the other 40% which was generated online.
By going first Cruz set the bar really high. He also surprised a lot of republicans including future rivals with the manner in which he launched his campaign. Even top republicans who treat him as a leper predict he will be one of the last candidates standing.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Back in 2013 Cruz’s former Law professor from Harvard, Alan Dershowitz said Cruz was one of the brightest students he had ever had. He said:
Dershowitz went on to say:I’ve had 10,000 students over my 50 years at Harvard . . . He has to qualify among the brightest of the students.
He deeply believes what he’s doing. I don’t think of him so much as a tactical or strategic thinker. He’s deeply principled.
Yesterday, the world met for the first time a force to be reckoned with, his name is Ted Cruz.
