Immediately after his CPAC 2015 speech, Senator Ted Cruz (R) took questions from Fox News’ Sean Hannity, who was at the annual conservative event taping interviews for his nightly television program
Because “liberal birthers” have been trying to make the case that Cruz is not eligible to be president because he was born in Canada, Hannity’s first asked Cruz about his eligibility.Cruz responded to Hannity by saying that he was born in Calgary, but because his mother was an American citizen by birth, federal law made him an American citizen by birth, adding that the Constitution requires that you be a natural born citizen.”
Under federal law that made me an american citizen by birth,. The constitution requires that you be a natural born citizen.
Do you think the 2nd Amendment will be destroyed by the Biden Administration?(2)
Cruz then stated the 5 things he would do if elected president.
- “Repeal every blasted word of Obamacare”-
Abolish the IRS, and put all 125 thousand IRS agents on southern border - Stop EPA regulators
- Defend all constitutional rights
- Restore America’s leadership around the world
Cruz then clowned President Bill Clinton by saying that the two words that come to mind when he thinks of Bill Clinton are “youth outreach.”
Cruz was obviously taking a swipe at Clinton over the Monica Lewinsky affair during his second term in office.Watch the video clip.
